THE OP. AT LAST!

Dear Friends – I’m back! It’s been a busy time on the hospital front.

I was called to Lannemezan in a hurry – no nothing wrong, but an appointment for Leaf with the anaesthetist prior to his op. which had now been scheduled for the fourth of March.

Leaf was pretty comatose, lying on the stretcher trolley staring at the wall while I discussed my concerns. Would he have a local or a general? I wasn’t keen on the general for reasons that might be apparent!!! I was told a local from the waist down was possible as long as he was heavily sedated – movement during the op. could be disastrous. As for a general, I was assured that modern methods aren’t (usually) detrimental to dementia patients. I was given a load of documentation about the op. – the usual information plus warnings etc. and two days to decide which I wanted them to go for.

KEEPING SAFE – HOPEFULLY

It wasn’t an easy decision but it was obvious. No way could we risk Leaf fidgetting, that could be really dangerous in the middle of a delicate operation. I agreed to the general. As soon as the appointment was over, Leaf was whisked away back to the unit and I went home. No time to talk to him let alone give him any affection. I probably would’ve been told ‘No touching’. It is utterly cruel as far as I’m concerned. The unit had been closed to visitors for over a month.

Back to the waiting, praying he wouldn’t pull out the catheter again and cause yet another infection. I half expected a call to say the op. had been posponed. Then Manou, the intern, rang to tell me that ‘exceptionellement’ I could visit Leaf before his op. provided I had a Covid test. I couldn’t help but wonder if this special visit foreboded something! I dismissed that negative thinking quickly as soon as it crossed my mind.

The visit went off well. Leaf was in a reasonable mood, managed to smile a few times and drank his coffee without incident. I explained he would be having an op. to correct his prostate/bladder problem and after that wouldn’t need to wear the catheter any more. He liked the idea for the mini-second it registered. Despite his almost non-existent moment-to-moment memory, l still treat him normally. I believe, on some level, information goes in, the problem is non-retrieval.

BE GONE NEGATIVE THOUGHTS!

The day before the op. Leaf was taken up to the surgical ward in the evening. I called him before he left the dementia unit. The call didn’t last for more than a few words. It’s becoming hopeless – the nurses are always making a racket in the background and Leaf can’t manage noise. He gets angry when he can’t hear the person he’s talking to, puts the phone down and walks away. I don’t blame him. If someone’s on the phone nearby, I would expect to keep quiet, but such consideration isn’t so common these days, is it?

Stopping myself thinking the worst might happen, I kept distracted through the fourth and fifth of March. Nanou, who’s always by our side, finally rang me to say the op. had gone well, the catheter was out and Leaf was peeing normally! That was the best possible news. Long may it continue. I shall call tomorrow to see if visits are to be restored.

Whilst waiting to hear about Leaf’s appointments, I got a call from a senior nurse at the hospital asking whether Leaf should have the vaccine. I said ‘No, not for the moment. We’re waiting to see how it affects others!’ She said, fine, no problem. Let’s hope that remains the case.

For a while I’ve been part of a huge online community of truth seekers, the number of followers has grown to many, many millions worldwide. The researchers work all hours to bring us information from across the planet.

We are in a period of transition, obviously. How we emerge and into what kind of world, is of paramount importance. Good must prevail where it has not for many centuries. It will naturally take several years to recover from the events of 2020 and these last few months, as well as the tyranny that so many have endured, but together we will rebuild for the good of all. Fairness, Freedom and Family values will be restored and the dystopian future of the WEF’s New World Order that we were told we would happily embrace, will not succeed.

LOOKING FORWARD TO A BETTER WORLD

(Note: the huge number of people who have studied what that would involve and said they would ‘move on’ if the NWO were to win the day, says it all!)

To quote a hopeful message from MARTIN GEDDES’s excellent book ‘Open Your Mind to Change’:

‘My hypothesis is that the turmoil we are all currently witnessing is the death-throes of an information flow management system (MSM) that is so longstanding and embedded into society we can barely perceive it … While we may pass through a time of trauma (now), there is hope of a golden age on the far side, once we’ve fixed the wreckage left by pathocracy’.

To go forward knowing that all will be well in the end, is very comforting.

    1. Hi Jan, Thanks for your good wishes. It is indeed great news!
Positive turning points are on their way.

  2. Hello Sue,
What wonderful news that Leaf has finally had his operation and that it has gone well. I hope you will be able to visit him.
There certainly is need for huge change in the world. The human race has destroyed so much and has lost it’s way with what is important, but many people are striving for positive change. Each one of us can make a difference in small ways and the sum total can make a difference.
Spring is here and there is so much to look forward to.

    1. Hi Adrienne, Thanks, it is great news that the op. has finally happened. I thought the wait would go on and on. When I will be allowed to visit is unknown.
There is huge change on the way but we don’t know exactly – changing the world doesn’t happen overnight. In fact the work has been going on behind the scenes for many years. We can make a difference by informing ourselves and making sure we’re on the side of right and good. I foresee a lot of work ahead helping people come through the transition.
Yes, spring is definitely on the way. I’ve done some work in the garden which is gratifying but can only manage about an hour before my back plays up and I have to rest.
I’m sure your garden is beginning to look lovely.

  3. Hi Sue
What good news ! So glad to hear Leaf has had his op and it’s successful . What a relief for you and of course for him ! I definitely think you chose the best option re having a general anaesthetic.
It must be very frustrating trying to communicate by telephone . I hope it won’t be too long before you can visit him properly .
    Lots of love

    1. Hi Gail, Yes, definitely a case of Phew! I had been more on edge over the op than I realised. The relief is enormous. I know of three men who had trouble with prostate procedures, so was rather nervous.
Hopefully, Leaf’s recovery will continue apace.
Yes, the phone business is distressing but at least I understand which helps.
Roll on the day when I can visit again. Lots of love back

    1. Thanks so much Trisha. It’s great to receive supportive messages when feeling rather isolated. Not by choice I have to say! Hope all well with you and hugs back. xxx

  4. Great news about Leaf, water works problems such as he has endured are horrific, let’s hope he is far more comfortable now which may well improve his communication a little as the focus will be away from his bladder discomfort.

We are, as truth seekers, in such an emotional time as info’ swings from good to bad constantly. Being the lone ranger of old, I am now beginning to appreciate the value of hooking up with the like-minded and although I don’t know how yet will be keen going forward in doing so.

    1. Hello Louis, As a man you can obviously relate to the discomfort of peeing problems! We’ll see if it improves his general health.
I too feel like a lone ranger sometimes! But normally I’m happy not to be one of the herd. I’ve had to develop thick skin and plenty of backbone. In your case of course, it would involve balls as well!!! I am sure there will be ways open for us to become more involved with the team. Bon continuation. xx

  5. Thank you for your blog, I am glad you are back. Delighted to hear there is movement and yes I agree – with all this Aquarian energy flooding our dimension the future can only be golden, that is what Aquarian energy is all about. How long the dismantling goes on we have yet to discover but the change and re-build, when it becomes visible, will be unlike anything we have ever experienced before and it will be magnificent.
All my love and thoughts go out to you and Leaf

    1. Hello Dilly, You’re right on the button, as they say. How long it will take to orchestrate the big changes, we have no idea, but I think some announcements are imminent. After all the years work that’s been going on behind the scenes, the revelations are likely to be epic. Some say biblical! The final battle between good and evil! Lots of love back to you. xxx
